United South High School Marine Corps JROTC Air Rifle Team Excel in Competitions

Laredo, Texas-United ISD; This year has been an exceptional year for the United South High School MCJROTC Air Rifle Team. They competed all over Texas, in Arizona, Illinois, and Ohio. The Team’s final match was at The Civilian Marksmanship Program National Championships at Camp Perry in Port Clinton, Ohio.
The team was comprised of Abdiel Lara, Matthew Altman, Antonio Munoz, and Diego Hernandez and finished with a score of 2117 with 59 Bullseyes earning 14th Place out of 35 Teams from all over the United States. Abdiel Lara ended his high school career with a Personal Best score of 550 with 22 Bullseyes out of a possible 600. Congratulations USHS Marine Corps JROTC Air Rifle Team!
