LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo Health Department, in collaboration with City of Laredo Parks and Recreation Department, is excited to launch Laredo’s QR Fit Trail System. QR Fit Trail is a FREE health technology system that places a personal trainer in the palm of your hands.
Physical activity is important to maintain good health and QR Fit Trail is Laredo’s NEW active lifestyle campaign. QR Fit Trail is now available at four parks across Laredo: Independence Hills, Father McNaboe, North Central and Bartlett Park. Using a QR code reader on your smartphone, you have access to several individual workout routines at five stations along the park trail. Each station takes approximately five minutes to complete then walk, jog, or skip to the next station to continue your physical activity sessions. The best part is the individual workout routines are updated every month!
The City of Laredo Health Department and City of Laredo Parks and Recreation Department encourage the community to take advantage of the QR Fit Trail to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
