Interstate Highway 35 northbound right mainline closure at Milo Interchange July 8

LAREDO, TX – On Monday, July 8, 2019 from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., motorists should expect a right lane closure on the Interstate Highway 35 (I-35) northbound mainlanes at the Milo Interchange (I-35-mile post marker #8) to allow installation of bridge overhang forms of the eastbound US 59 Loop/I-69W bridge, currently under construction, above the I-35 mainlines. Off duty police officers will assist with traffic control to ensure the safety of the traveling public.
Motorists are urged to slow down, merge to open lane(s) and drive with extreme caution through the work zone.
This work facilitates the continued construction of the future US 59 Loop/I-69W overpass (bridges) over the Union Pacific Railroad line and I-35 mainlanes. Work is being performed by SER Construction Partners, Inc.
