Alexander High School’s Avery Puig Signs with Trinity University

(Laredo, Texas)-Avery Puig, a senior at Alexander High School, recently signed a letter of intent to continue her athletic career with Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Avery is the daughter of Ben and Monica Puig.  She is a four-year varsity letterman for the girls track program, three-year captain, district champion, area champion, regional finalist, and state qualifier.  Avery’s other accolades include:

2017

·       District 29-6A Champion (Overall Team Title)

·       District 29-6A Champion 4 x 100 Meter Relay

·       Area Qualifier 100 Meter Hurdles

·       Area Qualifier 300 Meter Hurdles

·       Area Champion 4 x 100 Meter Relay

2018

Avery plans to attend Trinity University in the fall and will major in Neuroscience while competing in the sport of Track & Field.
