Muller Elementary Hosts 13th Annual Career Day

(Laredo, Texas)-Muller elementary school welcomed a diverse group of professionals who volunteered their time to participate in the school’s annual Career Day event on January 6. Each guest conducted multiple sessions during which they spoke to students about their educational backgrounds and experiences.
At the conclusion of each session, students were allowed to ask questions. Guests included law enforcement personnel and officers, attorneys, financial advisers, marketing strategists, real estate agents, construction engineers, television anchors, and a meteorologist. Principal Mayra Ramirez stated that students look forward to Career Day. “The opportunity for students to directly interact with professionals and role models is priceless. It helps them understand the connection between a great education and a rewarding career”, said Ramirez. The event was coordinated by school counselor LIza Martinez.
