Notice on UISD Holiday Schedule

(Laredo, Texas)-For the upcoming holiday season, United Independent School District will observe the following special schedule:
-December 16, 2016 –will be the last, full day for all students. Students are expected to arrive at school as regularly scheduled and will be dismissed at their usual time.
– December 19, 2016 through January 2, 2017 – all United ISD campuses and administrative offices, with the exception of the Tax Office, will be closed. All employees will return on January 3, 2017 and all students and will return on January 4, 2017.
The United ISD Tax Office, located at 3501 E. Saunders, will be open to patrons who want to pay their taxes. The Tax Office schedule will only be opened to patrons on the following dates: December 19, 20, and 21 (closed on December 22, 23, & 26) open 27, 28, 29, & 30 (closed on January 2) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Taxpayers may also pay their taxes anytime online at the United ISD website located at www.uisd.net and click on the “Pay Taxes Online” icon. They may also contact the District’s delinquent tax attorneys, the Law Offices of Alarcon and Saenz at (956) 727-8585 or visit the office located 1302 Washington Street.
The District Main Offices located at 201 Lindenwood Drive will be manned by a receptionist and will only be open December 19, 20, and 21 and December 26, 27, and 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
