Horizon Group Properties, CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. & City of Laredo Officials Leave their Mark at The Outlet Shoppes of Laredo

City of Laredo officials, including (front row) Deputy City Manager Cynthia Collazo, Mayor Pete Saenz, District VIII Council Member Roberto Balli, and Mayor Pro Tempore Juan Narvaez, were joined by the Laredo community and Webb County officials, including Precinct 2 Commissioner Rosaura “Wawi” Tijerina, and (back row) Claudia Balli, Judge Tano Tijerina and Precinct 4 Commissioner Jaime Canales, while Horizon CEO Gary Skoien looks ,as they sign a steel beam that will soon be a part of the permanent structure of The Outlet Shoppes of Laredo, the downtown outlet mall that will be completed in Spring, 2017. The City of Laredo contributed at least $10 million in infrastructure downtown improvements, including new sidewalks, ramps, land donation, and traffic and utility improvements to help spur downtown economic development, with this project as the lead anchor project to spur that growth.
