W.C.S.O. Civil and Warrants division arrest dozens of wanted felons

Laredo, TX (Webb County) – More than two dozen wanted felons were taken off the streets following a week–long operation by the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Civil and Warrants Division.
The operation ran from Monday, August 4, through Saturday, August 9. The deputies arrested the suspects at a number of different locations throughout Laredo and Webb County. The warrant operation yielded 25 felony arrests which consisted of Injury to Child/Elderly/Disabled Reckless Bodily Injury, Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility, Burglary of Building, Burglary of Habitation, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
“The Webb County Sheriff’s Office will continue to be proactive in ensuring these felons are taken off the street,” said Sheriff Martin Cuellar. “These arrests send a strong message that you can hide from the law, but you cannot run from the law.”
