Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Unit locates stash house

Laredo, TX (Webb County) – A man sits behind bars Friday morning after a tip to the Laredo Crime Stoppers hotline led the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Unit to a stash house near a drug free zone.
The anonymous caller told Narcotics Deputies that a home located in the 2900 block of Montgomery was being used to store drugs. When deputies arrived and received consent to search the home, they found close to 30 pounds of Marijuana with an estimated street value of more than $37,000.
The suspect, Francisco Alberto Luna, 19, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana. The charges were elevated to a felony due to the proximity to F.S. Lara Academy.
