William Henry Johnson Murder Trial Continues

(Laredo, Tx)-The murder trial of William Henry Johnson will continue tomorrow before the 49th District Court Judge Jose Lopez. After the State rested yesterday afternoon, the defendant called on his witnesses to the stand. Johnson relinquished his right to self-representation and the court granted to have his standby attorney take over the case.
On February 17, 2012 William Henry Johnson, who is originally from Phoenix, Arizona, allegedly shot 39-year-old Clarence Bruce Krusen, north of the city at the 14700 block of Atlanta Drive. Johnson shot Krusen to death and seriously wounded Robert Rodriguez around 8:30 am at ATC Forwarding Agency. Johnson is charged with murder, a first-degree felony and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
Trial will resume tomorrow at 9:00 am.
Assistant District Attorney’s Johnathan Garcia, Jorge Vela and Juan R. Flores are prosecuting the case for the State.
