(Laredo, Tx)-United ISD’s Clark Middle School hosted The Friends of the Family and The Laredo Police Department’s “Outstanding 8th grader of the Month.” These outstanding 8th graders proudly represented their school and their entire 8th grade student body. An 8th grader from each of UISD Middle schools received this prestigious award.
Guest Speaker, Carmen Pompa, UISD Director of Bilingual/ESL/Dual Language Instruction, spoke to students about the true honor of receiving this award and that it is a start to their future successes. The Ceremony’s theme was a Mexican Fiesta, attendees were enchanted with beautiful Mariachi Music by Clark Middle School Mariachi Del Norte andserved with delicious “Mexican Antojitos” for lunch.
