“And the winner of a new lap top is…”
(Laredo, Tx)-Mario Navarro, an 11th grader at Alexander High School, was awarded a lap top for informing his family about the City of Laredo’s new Residential Recycling Program. Recycling program representatives and the City of Laredo’s recycling mascot “Billie Bote” were on hand at Alexander High School to award the prize to Navarro. Barrera, AHS Principal; Jesse Navarro, 1st Recycling representative and prize sponsor; Lauro Soto, Staff Force representative and prize sponsor; Charlie San Miguel, City of Laredo Council member; honoree Navarro; Billie Bote; and Sylvia Garza, City of Laredo Recycling Coordinator.
