Photo Recap: Mayor Salinas and Police Chief Garner Visit Downtown Laredo

(Laredo, Tx)-City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas and Chief of Police Ray Garner went on a walking tour of downtown Laredo. They wanted to reassure the downtown community about the commitment from the Laredo Police Department, as well as to listen to any concerns or issues residents and business owners in Laredo’s downtown may have about security or other infrastructure issues, Mayor Salinas and Chief Garner visited several downtown businesses, the El Metro Transit Center and senior citizens’ homes.
They promised to take care of Jarvis Plaza, as it is the veterans’ plaza, as well as to address issues related to homeless individuals throughout the business community.
