LAREDO, TX – Weather permitting, a right lane closure of McPherson Rd. southbound at Loop 20 between Loop 20 east- and westbound lanes will be in effect beginning Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 8 a.m. and ending on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 6 p.m. This closure will facilitate the relocation of fiber optic cable to be conducted by SER Construction Partners and subcontractor, Star Operations. This closure is associated with the Loop 20-McPherson Rd. overpass project (CSJ: 0086-14-057) which began February 22, 2013.

 McPherson Rd. southbound traffic at Loop 20 intersection should be prepared to slow down and merge to open lanes.  Motorists are encouraged to drive extreme caution while keeping a watchful eye for work crews.

 SER Construction Partners will set up the proper traffic control along with message boards to notify the traveling public in advance of the closure.  

 At all times, the traveling public should all observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
