Commissioners To Host Candlelight Vigil To Honor Military

(Laredo, Tx)- Webb County Commissioners Jaime Canales and Mike Montemayor will be hosting a candlelight vigil and prayer service to honor Webb County Veterans, members of the United States Armed Forces and their families. The service will take place on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Texas National Guard Armory located at 6001 E. Bob Bullock Loop 20.
“We must not forget those individuals that are not home with their loved ones and we need to unite to pray for the safety of our troops serving in the armed forces,” Commissioner Canales said. “By holding this event we’re letting our troops know that they’re not forgotten and that they’re in our thoughts and prayers,” added Commissioner Montemayor.
The public is invited to attend the event that will feature special guests. Refreshments will be served.
