(Laredo, Tx)- United High School was presented with a check for $1,000 for winning the Conoco Pump-N-Shop “School Support Drive” Contest. The contest was held at the new store located on McPherson Road and Fenwick Drive and was opened to United and Alexander High School students.
To win, students from both campuses were encouraged to write “I Love Pump-N-Shop” on their Facebook page, which counted as one vote for their campus. Students could also visit the location to pledge their support on sign-in sheets, which counted as two votes for their campus. While both schools are going to receive a donation from the Arguindegui Companies/Pump-N-Shop for participating, United High School came in first place with the most votes for their campus.
