COMMISSIONER SCIARAFFA TO GIVE OUT MORE THAN 1,500 TOYS FOR HEADSTART CHILDREN

(Laredo, Tx)-Commissioner Sciaraffa will hold his 8th Annual Headstart Christmas Party today at the Casa Blanca Ballroom from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will feature entertainment from Clown Bolitas, the appearance of Santa and Mrs. Clause and the distribution of a Christmas Gift for the more than 1,500 attendees.
“I’ve always been a strong advocate for our children and ensuring that we demonstrate our support to them for their individual scholastic achievements. This annual event highlights my commitment to our children and the entire Webb County communit reminding ourselves that our children are the future leaders of tomorrow,” said Commissioner Sciaraffa.
During his eight year tenure Commissioner Sciaraffa has worked diligently with Webb County’s Head Start Program to secure state and federal funding for the continuation of program services.
