Walmart Distribution Center Honors Centeno Elementary Educators with “Teacher Rewards” Program

(Laredo, Tx)-Walmart Distribution Center of Laredo recently awarded 20 educators from Rodolfo Centeno Elementary School each with a $50 reward card to purchase classroom supplies to help students throughout the school year. The cards were given out during a ceremony held in the school’s library. General Manager of the Walmart Distribution Center Jorge Lopez said “so many teachers spend their own money to help their students in the classroom.
We are proud that we can help teachers and students at Centeno Elementary School .” Lopez and Walmart Distribution Center representatives, Joel Hurtado and Esperanza Martinez hosted a small reception where cake and punch was served to teachers. Walmart coffee mugs were also given out to the teachers at the campus.
