(Laredo, Tx)-This morning, family and friends of Council Member elect Mr. Roque Vela, Jr. came to witness the swearing-in ceremony which was held on Friday November 16th at 10:00 am at City Council Chambers. “ I’d like to thank the constituents of District V for electing me and look forward to working for them, I also wish to complete any of Council Member Rendon’s projects and work on an extension of Bartlett Avenue,” stated Council Member Elect Roque Vela, Jr.
The newly elected council member greeted his friends and family after the ceremony and was anxiously looking forward to getting to work.
