LAREDO, Texas—HKG Duty Free and KRK Homes along with management at the SMG-managed Laredo Energy Arena are proud to announce the sensational, Grammy-award-winning Mexican band from Mexicali, REIK—performing for the first time in Laredo and at the Laredo Energy Arena – Friday, December 7, 2012 at 8pm .
The Spanish pop band comprised of Jesus Alberto Navarro Rosas (lead vocals), Julio Ramirez Eguia (background vocals & guitar) and Gilberto “Bibi” Marin Espinoza (guitar) in 2003, Reik, has taken the Spanish-speaking world by storm after launching their debut album, ReiK, in 2005. The band has had an impressive number of hit songs, including “Yo Quisiera” and “Noviembre Sin Ti,” and more recently, “Creo En Ti”.
“This show is going to be an amazing experience that you will not want to miss. I feel that Laredo is really going to embrace this show with its electrifying performances, catchy beats and intimate setting; and honestly we really wanted to make this show happen,” said the shows promoter, Luis Estrada.
“Reik is a spectacular band with a huge following. We are very happy to host this group at the Laredo Energy Arena for the first time in Laredo’s history,” said Xavier Villalon, general manager for the SMG-managed Laredo Energy Arena.
