The United Independent School District Office of Federal and State Compensatory Programs – Migrant Education Program cordially invites the public to a free community play entitled “El Moscas” y Los Pesticidas.  Written by Nephtali De Leon, and sponsored by the EPA and Migrants in Action, it is an interactive play designed to increase safety awareness for families and individuals who work in areas that are treated with pesticides and to broaden their understanding of “take-home” risks that exist.

Students with the UISD Migrant Education Program will appear in the play which will debut on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at the Bill Johnson Student Activity Complex Auditorium.

For information contact Veronica Burgoa, United I.S.D. Migrant Coordinator at (956) 473-6472.
