J.W. Nixon High School Students donate to Women’s City Club

J.W. Nixon High School Students took initiative by donating over $500 to the Women’s City Club for Pennies for Tennis.
The entire student body under the direction and leadership of school principal Dr. Gerardo Cruz and assistant principal Amy Casares gathered funds collected from pep rallies to donate to the Women’s City Club to assist in purchasing items for students who are less fortunate. Students at Nixon are taking the lead and would like other schools to follow the Mustang stampede and donate to any charitable organization.
Members of the Women’s City Club Anita Cavazos, Rosie Cavazos and Deann Novoa accepted a check from J.W. Nixon High School Principal Dr. Gerardo Cruz, Assistant Principal Amy Casares along with members of the Golden Spurs and Mustang Cheerleaders for their organization.
