Energy Sector Task Force Meeting in Laredo

AUSTIN – Taking business on the road, the Texas Department of Transportation and its partners are holding the next Task Force on Texas’ Energy Sector Roadway Needs meeting and open house in Laredo. The meeting will take place at 8:30 a.m. at the Posada Hotel on Wednesday September 19th.
The task force, made up of representatives from the Department of Public Safety, the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Railroad Commission, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, counties, and the energy and trucking sectors, is challenged with developing long-term funding strategies and plans to address infrastructure concerns well into the future.
