City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas was on hand monday at the Laredo Public Library to help announce the second annual Laredo Book Festival,
taking place on Saturday, August 18, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Laredo Public Library, 1120 E. Calton Road. The festival celebrates Texas
and local contemporary authors and illustrators and encourages interest in books and reading. The event is free and open to the entire family!
