Commissioner Canales To Distribute School Items

Webb County Commissioner Jaime Canales believes in giving students the right tools to be successful for the upcoming school year.
“As the start of the new school year nears, we want to make sure that students have the necessary school supplies,” said Commissioner Canales. “These students are the future generation of leaders and we’re happy to help them in any way we can.”
On Friday, August 10 Canales will be distributing backpacks and school supplies to students in Peñitas, Los Minerales and Los Minerales Annex.
The distribution will take place at 3 p.m. at the Fred M. & Anita Bruni Community Center located at 452 West Rancho Penitas.
