Sheriff Martin Cuellar and the Webb County Jail receive 100% Compliance for Jail Inspection

(Laredo, Tx)-After undergoing an inspection of two and a half days by the Texas Commission of Jail Standards, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office has received a passing evaluation with a score of 100% compliance. This years certification comes to Sheriff Martin Cuellar and his staff as the forth consecutive year of receiving this outstanding review. A record that Sheriff Cuellar is proud to claim after never being achieved by any other administration in the history of Webb County.
The jail inspection is a meticulous procedure that checks various areas of the jail which include inmate jailer ratios, health and safety measures, compliance with state mandated administrative procedures along with life saving techniques and equipment.
“I am extremely proud of the great work that is done by the Webb County Jail Staff. Their jobs are unlike any other and they are faced with extreme responsibilities. There is no doubt that this administration is more than ready to comply with the safety needs of the community. We will continue to work hard in providing your security”, stated Sheriff Martin Cuellar.
