Children from Sacred Heart Children’s Home Visit Mariscos El Pescador


(Laredo, Tx)- Mariscos El Pescador hosted children from Sacred Heart Childrens Home yesterday afternoon to a sit down lunch in observance of Dia del Niño.  The event took place at their location on South Zapata Hwy.  The children enjoyed a Lil’ Sailors Boat which is the restaurants signature menu item for children 12 and under.  The Lil’ Sailors Boat was served with their choice of a hamburger or chicken and was accompanied by french fries.  Their refreshments were served in a souvenir cup. 

 Pre-teens and adults who accompanied the children enjoyed a fried fish platter which was served with rice, french fries, and a roll the teens were also given the option of a 6oz. boneless chicken breast platter served with two sides both entrees were served with their choice of beverage.

 At the restaurant the children enjoyed videos that appeared on El Pescador’s four screens.  They also played in the restaurants new outdoor playground that is available for children of all ages.  The playground is located towards the rear of the location.

 Mariscos El Pescador has observed the yearly traditional hispanic day of Dia del Niño for the past seven years by offering free lunch or dinner to children in the community when they visit the restaurant accompanied by an adult.  Yesterday’s event kicked off this year’s campaign. 

 Mariscos El Pescador invites all children today to visit the location on South Zapata Hwy. to dine in and enjoy a free Sailors Boat with the purchase of one adult entree.  The promotion will be available today only and it will honored from the time that the restaurant opens 10a.m. and it will end at closing time 10p.m.
