Right-Turn Lane Project along Spur 400: Loop 20 & Spur 400 Intersection

LAREDO, Tx – Effective today, Saturday, January 14, 2012, Gilmar Construction Co. will continue the construction of a right-turn lane along Spur 400 at LP 20 as part of a TxDOT maintenance project (RMC 6210-65-001: Work Order No.9). Work will consist of installing pavement markings to delineate new lane designations along westbound Spur 400. Temporary lane closures will be required along westbound Spur 400 and motorists should be prepared to merge to open lane. Contractor will perform work starting at 10:30 am and conclude by 5:00 pm. This work order is scheduled for completion by January 16, 2012.
Therefore, motorists should slow down, and drive with extreme caution, keeping a watchful eye for work crews. The traveling public should all observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
