Loop 20 & McPherson Rd: Island Work

LAREDO, Tx – Effective Thursday, January 12, 2012, Gilmar Construction Co. will be performing island work by the newly constructed extended left-turn lane and turnaround along LP 20 at McPherson Rd. Contractor will be making adjustments to island at turnaround to conform to TxDOT standards. This work will be performed from 9:30 am – 11:00 am and from 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm. During the course of this construction, the westbound turnaround will be periodically closed at the indicated times (RMC 6210-65-001).
Motorists should slow down, drive with extreme caution, keeping a watchful eye for work crews. The traveling public should observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
All work for this project is scheduled for completion by January 16, 2012.
