Local women to be selected for induction in 2012 Laredo Commission for Women Hall of Fame
(Laredo, Tx)-Every two years, the City of Laredo Commission for Women inducts several local women into their prestigious Hall of Fame, honoring them for their accomplishments in making Laredo a better city and honoring them at an induction ceremony.
Categories include civic/volunteer; education; financial; government services; health/environment; and politics, and previous inductees have included former Mayor Betty Flores, Mrs. Gloria Jackson and Dr. Carmen Ramirez-Rathmell, to name a few.
