Loop 20 Traffic Switch

(LAREDO, Tx) Ballenger Construction has tentatively scheduled a traffic switch for Saturday, December 3, 2011. Work hours will be from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on LP 20 from Clark Blvd to Merida St. and on SH 359 from Cuatro Vientos to McDonald St. The traffic switch will involve a westward shift in traffic for southbound LP 20. The current southbound traffic lanes will be shifted to the west onto the newly constructed southbound frontage road. This traffic switch is needed in order to construct the LP 20 mainlanes and overpass. (CSJ: 0086-14-025)
Motorists should slow down, merge to the open lane(s), and drive with extreme caution while keeping a watchful eye for workers.
At all times the traveling public should all observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
