Holiday Truck Toll Promotion

Courtesy Raul Leal,‘Tis the season for giving and the Texas Department of Transportation has a great gift in mind – traffic congestion relief. From December 21 to January 4, trucks can take the 130/45SE toll bypass and avoid I-35 traffic in Austin for a reduced rate of $9 or less. For trucks with four axles or more, this means a savings of 67%.
TxDOT hopes the reduced holiday toll rates will encourage truck operators to take the Austin bypass, resulting in travel time savings for them and less congestion on I-35.
