CITY DEPARTMENTS CLOSURE NOTICE

City of Laredo administrative offices will be closed on Friday, December 23, and Monday December 26, 2011 in observance of the Christmas holiday.
Protective and emergency services will be operational.
The City Landfill will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23. It will be closed on Saturday, December 24. It will be closed on Saturday, December 24.
In observance of the Christmas holiday, the Laredo Public Library and Bruni Plaza Branch will be closed from Friday, December 23 – Monday, December 26, 2011. The Bruni Plaza Branch will also be closed Tuesday, December 27, 2011.
The El Metro bus schedule and El Lift bus service for the holiday will be as follows:
Friday, December 23, 2011: Regular Service; administrative offices closed
Saturday, December 24, 2011: Regular Service; administrative offices closed
Sunday, December 25, 2011: NO Service; administrative offices closed
Monday, December 26, 2011: Regular Service; administrative offices closed
The City of Laredo Municipal Court will also be closed on Friday and Monday. Individuals scheduled to appear in court that day have a minimum of 10 working days to make an appearance. Contact Municipal Court for more information at 794-1680.
City of Laredo administrative offices will re-open on Tuesday December 27, 2011, during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The next regularly scheduled City Council meeting is on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers.
