Council Member San Miguel to Distribute Turkey, Food Baskets

(Laredo, Tx)-City of Laredo Council Member Charlie San Miguel, District VI set to distribute Thanksgiving Turkeys on Tuesday November 22nd.
“Thanksgiving is not only a time to be thankful for all our blessings, but also, a time to help those who are less fortunate than we are,” said Cm. San Miguel. “My calling is to share my good fortune with those in need; it is my love of my fellow man that inspires me to assist these families. I hope they can have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving, not because of the food baskets I am providing, but because they know that God is working through me to help provide for them.”
Aside from families identified in District VI, Cm. San Miguel will also be assisting other needy families throughout Laredo who have been identified through Catholic Social Services as having a need. In total, Cm. San Miguel will distribute 120 turkeys and food baskets.
