Loop 20 WB-FM 1472 SB Congestion toward World Trade Bridge

LAREDO, Tx – Motorists traveling on Loop 20 westbound and FM 1472 ( Mines Rd. ) southbound toward Loop 20 are experiencing traffic congestion due to increased inspections at customs on the Mexican side where only one lane of traffic is operating. Congestion and delays are expected to continue.
Presently, Loop 20 westbound traffic is backed up to IH 35 and FM 1472 ( Mines Rd. ) traffic is back up for one and half mile.Motorists are urged to SLOW DOWN and DRIVE WITH EXTREME CAUTION and EXPECT DELAYS.
