Loop 20-University Blvd. Traffic Signal Poles Relocation Work

LAREDO, Tx – On Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Star Operations will begin relocation of traffic signal poles on Loop 20 at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) University Blvd. As a result, existing traffic signals at Loop 20-University intersection will be turned off and temporary traffic signals will be installed for traffic signal relocation construction work occurring over a two week period.
WORK WILL REQUIRE THE RIGHT LANE CLOSURE OF LOOP 20 NORTHBOUND AT UNIVERSITY BLVD.
Motorists are urged to SLOW DOWN, MERGE to inside open lanes and DRIVE with EXTREME CAUTION while keeping a watchful eye for work crews.
Please observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
