LISD Parade of Former Athletes set for November 5

(Laredo, Tx)- As part of the celebration of the opening of the new Shirley Field Sports Complex, the LISD Athletic Department will have a LISD Parade of Former Athletes prior to the kickoff of the annual Martin Nixon football game on Saturday, November 5. The parade of former athletes will start promptly at 6:15 p.m.
All former athletes from Martin, Nixon and Cigarroa High Schools are invited to participate in the LISD Parade of Athletes. Former athletes are encouraged to wear Letterman’s jacket, team sweaters, jerseys, or school colors. The Parade of Athletes will form by the Tiger’s Den.
Those interested in participating in the parade are asked to complete a registration form which is available on the LISD website at www.lareodisd.org. Registration forms are due to the LISD Office of Communications no later than Tuesday, November 1.
Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. Parking will be available at Martin High School, Christen Middle School, Leyendecker Elementary School and Veterans Field.
