TAMIU Pauses to Remember 9.11

As the country readies to observe the 10th Anniversary of 9.11, theTexas A&M International University campus will pause to remember the nation’s loss on TODAY, Thursday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. in the Student Center Rotunda.
Members of the University community: students, faculty, staff and alumni, will join for a brief program.
Student Government president Triana Gonzalez will welcome all and provide the Pledge of Allegiance. The National Anthem and a 9.11 timeline will follow, along with remarks of remembrance by Juan Castillo, TAMIU vice president for Finance and Administration.
A moment of silence follows and the event will conclude with “Amazing Grace.”
