IH 35 NB Outside Lane Closure

In effect for approximately three weeks
LAREDO,Tx – Beginning Tuesday, September 6, 2011 for approximately three weeks, northbound IH 35 traffic can expect the outside lane closure to the IH 35 mainlanes at mile marker #58 located five miles south of Cotulla in La Salle County .
Motorists are urged to SLOW DOWN, MERGE to inside open lane and DRIVE with EXTREME CAUTION while keeping a watchful eye for work crews.
Please observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
This outside lane closure will facilitate further construction TxDOT Tourist and Visitor Center in La Salle County under construction by Matl Construction Company. The project consists of the construction of two tourist and visitor centers on IH 35, one of the northbound side and one on the southbound side of IH 35, in La Salle County at milepost marker#59. Construction includes site work, concrete pavement, restroom and picnic arbors, parking and connections to wastewater treatment facility and electrical power utility. Also, includes plays cape, pedestrian plazas and natural trails.
