Weekend Loop 20 & McPherson Rd : Maintenance Work to Extend Turnaround Lane

LAREDO – Effective tonight, Saturday, August 13, 2011, Gilmar Construction Co. will continue working along Eastbound LP 20 approximately 1,000 feet prior to the intersection with McPherson Rd. The construction involves the extension of the auxiliary lane for the westbound turnaround. (RMC 6210-65-001)
A lane closure for the inside through lane along Eastbound LP 20 will be in effect from 9:00 p.m., tonight, August 13, 2011 through 6:00 a.m. on August 15, 2011. Additionally, there will be a right lane closure along southbound McPherson Rd. at the intersection with LP 20.
Motorists should slow down, prepare to merge right to open lane, and drive with extreme caution, keeping a watchful eye for work crews. The traveling public should all observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
