City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas in meeting with fellow mayors at the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Los Angeles, led by president of the organization, City of Los Angeles Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa. While in Los Angeles, Salinas interviewed with several media outlets, including MSNBC, regarding the debt ceiling stalemate. Both Salinas and Villaraigosa are leading the efforts to push for comprehensive immigration reform.
