Loop 20 and SH 359: Modifications to Traffic Control

LAREDO – Effective Monday, August 15, 2011, Ballenger Construction (CSJ: 0086-14-025)will be installing pavement markings for a left-turn lane from LP 20 to access Bencha Rd. Also, the existing lane configuration along the southbound LP 20 approach to SH 359 will be modified to accommodate dual-left turns. Due to this re-configuration, modifications to the traffic signal will be required as well.
Alternating lane closures along LP 20 and SH 359 will be in effect from 9:00 a.m., Monday, August 15, 2011 through 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should slow down, prepare to merge to an open lane, and drive with extreme caution, keeping a watchful eye for work crews. The traveling public should also observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
