Mayor Pro Tempore Johnny Rendon, District V; Mark Schuster, Ventura Sports Group; Meghan Cantu, the 13-year old Trautmann Middle School student who came up with the team name and who has won season tickets for the baseball team for life; and District IV Cm. Juan Narvaez unveil the name of the Laredo Baseball Team, the Laredo Lemurs.
the stadium is a waste of money the name sucks the heat in laredo is dreadful in the summer 100 degree weather all the time a decent crowd int he opener and then its shitsville after that i give them two years before management gets tired of the financial losses……taxpayer money would have been put to better use to fill the fucking pot holes in the city!
