Dual-Left Turning Lanes-Southbound Loop 20 onto SH 359

LAREDO, Tx – Effective immediately, Southbound LP 20 traffic turning left onto SH 359 will now be channelized by dual-left turn lanes. The new configuration consists of three lanes: (1) Left lane for left turns only, (2) Middle lane for left and through movements, and (3) right lane for right and through movements. Traffic signal indications have also been modified to reflect this reconfiguration.
Left-Turn Lane along LP 20 onto Bencha Rd.
Effective immediately, Southbound LP 20 traffic will be able to access Bencha Rd. via left-turn lane. This turn lane will be exclusive and will channelize traffic only from Southbound LP 20 onto Bencha Rd.
Motorists should slow down, and drive with extreme caution, keeping a watchful eye for work crews. The traveling public should also observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
