Back to School Supplies and Health Fair at The Fernando A. Salinas Community Center

Laredo, Tx- Webb County Commissioner Jerry Garza, along with the Fernando A. Salinas Community Center, formerly known as the Buenos Aires Community Center, will hold their annual Back to School Supplies and Health Fair on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the City of Laredo Health Department foyer area, located at 2600 Cedar Avenue.
This event will give approximately 75 disadvantaged children from the area an opportunity to receive a backpack filled with school supplies.
Before each child picks up their backpack and school supplies, they and their families will be required to visit all the booths of the participating health, law enforcement and fitness agencies.
