“Laredo Book Festival” to be Held August 13th

The Laredo Book Festival, a celebration of Texas and local authors and illustrators, will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Laredo Public Library. Authors from throughout Texas and Laredo will participate in panel discussions, workshops, author readings and sell and autograph their books. The event is free to the public and will have books and authors for everyone in the family, including children’s authors, young adult, fiction and non-fiction, graphic novels and historical books, as well. Make plans to attend this uniquely Laredo, uniquely Texas book festival and celebrate a love of reading and books with your Laredo Public Library!
