The Kids Aid With Lemonade children of St. Mary’s University Laredo Alumni, visited the South Texas Food Bank to present their check from their Lemonade and Cookie Stand they hosted to benefit the South Texas Food Bank. Alfonso Casso, STFB executive director looks on while Isabella Haynes; Stephanie Moreno; Juan Diego Guerrero; Alessandro Haynes; Joey Garcia, IV; and Sofia Cabello present their big check donation of $2,150, which will be used to benefit the Kids Café program. President of the StMU Alumni Association-Laredo Chapter Xochitl Mora Garcia talks about the project while Dave Gonzalez, program Director for Guerra Communications, a major sponsor of the project; and Salo Otero, with the STFB listen.
After the presentation, the children toured the facility, to better understand the impact of their donation.
