Sheriff’s Deputies and ICE Agents Seize Drugs in a School Zone

(Laredo, Texas) – On Thursday June 30, 2011 Webb County Sheriff’s Deputies in conjunction with ICE Special Agents seized a substantial amount of street level narcotics from a subject in a parking lot of a local restaurant located on the 9800 block of McPherson. Authorities approached Jesse Vallejo of 34 yrs of age after observing suspicious activity and found Vallejo was in possession with an assortment of narcotics that were packaged and ready for distribution. The assortment of drugs ranged from 35 Individual bags of marijuana totaling 14.8 ounces, 19 bags of cocaine totaling 54.8 grams of cocaine and 52 pills of MDMA (Ecstasy). In addition to the narcotics, Vallejo also had in his possession an expandable baton and approximately $300.00 in U.S. Currency. Jesse Vallejo of 34 years of age, was arrested on site and transported to the Webb County Jail in lieu of no bond pending magistration. The street level narcotics had an estimated street value of $5000.00.
