IH 35 Mill and Inlay Work Continues
LAREDO – Weather permitting on Friday and Saturday, July 8-9, 2011 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., alternating lane closures will be in effect for motorists on IH 35 northbound (NB) and southbound (SB) main lanes between milepost markers (MPMs) #6 and #8 as Anderson Columbia, Inc. continues mill and inlay road work on IH 35. (RMC 6195-58-001)
Specifically, work will be conducted as follows:
Friday, July 8, 2011 – IH 35 SB left-inside main lane from MPMs 6.8 to 7.3 miles and IH 35 NB right-outside main lane from MPMs 6.0 to 7.3 miles.
Saturday, July 9, 2011 – IH 35 NB left-inside main lane from MPMs 6.0 to 7.3 miles and IH 35 NB middle main lane from MPMs 6.0 to 6.3 miles.
Motorists should slow down, prepare to merge left to open lane(s) and drive with extreme caution keeping a watchful eye for advanced flaggers and work crews.
The traveling public should all observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
Starting Monday, July 11, 2011, Anderson Columbia, Inc. will begin night time operations for IH 35 entrance and exit ramp mill and inlay work. A specific schedule will be forthcoming.
