Cuatro Vientos Road Opens to the Traveling Public

LAREDO – As of 12:30 p.m. today, July 18, 2011, the new seven-mile Cuatro Vientos Road from State Highway 359 to Mangana-Hein Road is now open to the traveling public. Also, a new traffic signal has been activated to full red-yellow-green configuration at the intersection of SH 359 and Cuatro Vientos Rd. The traveling should slow down, drive with extreme caution and observe all advance warning signs, road markings and traffic signal devices.
Cuatro Vientos Rd. traffic will have access to Jalapa St. , Wormser (county) Rd., La Pita Mangana Blvd. and Sierra Vista Blvd.
SPUR 260 – The (former) Loop 20 portion of road from SH 359 to US 83 South ( Zapata Highway ) is now designated Spur 260.
